Mainframe Disaster Recovery Services

Clemson University is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Mainframe Disaster Recovery Services for the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS). The goal of the Disaster Recovery solution is to establish an offsite location that can meet the required capabilities. The solution should be out of region (more than 150 miles) from the primary data center near Anderson, SC. The vendor should provide a detailed description of how their product/service meets the requirements documented in the RFP. The contract will be a three-year contract for services with four one-year renewal options. Some key requirements include: • 24 x 7 staffed data center • ISO 27001 compliant • HIPAA/FERPA compliant • Ability to sign BAA (a HIPPA Business Associate Agreement) • Secure storage and drive disposal • Compliance with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Security Controls ARCAMPE v1 • Ability to test recovery plan twice annually • Remote Mirroring equipment compatible with Clemson’s current production environment • Network connectivity that provides asynchronous mirroring of all data that meets the selected Recovery Point Objective (RPO) target
