Description
The City of Dublin is seeking to pre-qualify consulting firms to provide professional building inspection and plan review services for construction projects within the city. The selected firms will be required to demonstrate their ability to perform plan reviews, inspections, and other related tasks, and to provide certified accessibility specialists and licensed professional engineers. The city is looking for firms with experience in electronic plan review and virtual inspections. The contract term will be for three years, with the option to extend for an additional two years.
* Key tasks include:
* Plan review and inspection services for commercial, residential, and government buildings and structures
* Verification of compliance with California Building Standards Code, City's Municipal Code, and relevant State and Federal Laws
* Coordination between City agencies, designers, and builders
* Provision of certified accessibility specialists and licensed professional engineers
* Experience with electronic plan review and virtual inspections
* Ability to provide prompt inspections and plan reviews
* Strong communication and coordination skills
