The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Medical Equipment (HME) services to eligible veterans at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. The services include delivery, setup, maintenance, repair, and pickup of DME/HME equipment. The contractor will be required to provide a wide range of equipment, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, and bathroom equipment. The contractor must have the capability to provide emergency services within four hours of notification and must have a facility located within 5 to 15 miles of the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center. * Key services include: * Delivery and setup of DME/HME equipment * Maintenance and repair of DME/HME equipment * Pickup and storage of DME/HME equipment * Emergency services within four hours of notification * Compliance with The Joint Commission standards * Ability to provide services to veterans in their homes or at VA facilities
