Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a comprehensive IT software asset management solution to discover, inventory, and optimize software licenses across on-premises, SaaS, and cloud environments. The solution should improve cost efficiency, ensure compliance, enhance security, empower vendor negotiations, and support the achievement of strategic objectives.
• The solution must deliver end-to-end software asset management capabilities to meet license compliance reporting, auditing, and certification requirements for IBM and Microsoft.
• The solution must produce an auditable Effective License Position (ELP) for Microsoft and IBM, reconciling discovered deployments/usage with contractual entitlements and license metrics, suitable for internal review and vendor audits and acceptable by IBM or Microsoft.
• The solution should be a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution.
• The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who offers the best value to the State, as determined by the State.
