The Wilmington VAMC is seeking a contractor to repair or replace the chiller in Building 15. The project includes removing and replacing various components, performing a full system refrigeration decontamination, and testing the refrigerant to ensure it meets normal parameters. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the project. The project must be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed. • The contractor must provide a certified crane operator to remove and install the chiller parts on the rooftop. • The contractor must conduct onsite training to HVAC personnel and provide all required documents and manuals. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and ensure performance is secure while protecting material, equipment, and supplies from damage and loss. • The contractor must maintain all infection control and dust prevention measures required. • The contractor must provide a warranty for the work performed.
