J045--Intent to Sole Source | Feedwater Piping Replacement

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to make a sole source award to CSIC Solutions LLC for the replacement of approximately 360 feet of 3” Schedule 80 welded feedwater piping, including associated fittings, connecting the Deaerator (DA) Tank to the boiler system. The existing piping exhibits signs of corrosion, leakage, and inefficiency, which may compromise boiler performance, safety, and reliability. CSIC Solutions is the current provider of the Deaerator (DA) Tank under an active rental agreement and is uniquely positioned to execute the work with full continuity of service. • The replacement of feedwater piping is required to ensure the reliability and safety of the boiler plant. • The existing piping exhibits signs of corrosion, leakage, and inefficiency. • CSIC Solutions is the only source capable of performing the required work without causing disruption to the current system. • The project involves the replacement of approximately 360 feet of piping and associated fittings.
