REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF THERMAL FLUID HEATER

The City of Vancouver is seeking a contractor to remove and replace the existing thermal fluid heater system at the Kent Yard asphalt plant. The scope of work includes decommissioning and disposal of the existing unit, installation of the new Hy-Way HYCGO-200 heater, side-filter, expansion tank, and controls, and commissioning of the operational system. The contractor must have experience with pressure vessel and thermal fluid system installation and maintenance, and must hold a valid Boiler, Pressure Vessel, Refrigeration & Gas license from Technical Safety BC. The project is expected to take 6 weeks to complete, and the contractor must comply with all applicable codes and regulations. • The contractor must provide a comprehensive safety plan and certified personnel for the work. • The contractor must ensure that all work is done in accordance with manufacturer specifications and recognized industry best practices. • The contractor must provide documentation and testing results for all work completed. • The contractor must obtain all necessary permits and approvals for the work. • The contractor must ensure that the site is returned to a safe working condition at the end of the project.
