Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial services for the Kentucky State Treasurer's office. The services will include daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual cleaning tasks, as well as deep cleaning and special event cleaning. The vendor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies, and to ensure that all employees working on the contract have undergone a background check. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional two-year periods.
• Daily tasks will include sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and emptying trash cans.
• Weekly tasks will include dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, and cleaning windows and mirrors.
• Monthly tasks will include cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, and cleaning and polishing metal surfaces.
• Semi-annual tasks will include deep cleaning of carpets and upholstered furniture, and cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces.
