The Whatcom Transportation Authority (WTA) is seeking information from qualified charter bus companies to provide cross-border transportation services in support of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The services may include charter bus transportation between Lynnwood, WA, and Richmond, BC, from June 1 to July 30, 2026. The purpose of this RFI is to identify market capabilities and service options, and it is not a solicitation for proposals.
• The RFI is seeking information on the company's experience, capabilities, and potential interest in providing charter bus services.
• The services may include high-volume spectator movement, cross-border passenger transport, luggage-inclusive travel, and coordination with federal and international border authorities.
• Respondents are asked to provide information on their fleet and capacity, cross-border operations, operations and logistics, insurance, and compliance.
