Description
The Department of State Hospitals (Metropolitan) seeks a qualified contractor to provide a full‑service rental of a 500‑ton water‑cooled chiller, an independent cooling tower, and all associated installation, startup, routine maintenance, and removal services at the Metropolitan State Hospital central utility plant in Norwalk, CA. The contractor must deliver, install, and integrate the equipment using existing electrical infrastructure, provide seismic‑braced temporary piping, perform operator training, and maintain the equipment throughout a three‑year performance period. The contract also requires the contractor to meet extensive California prevailing‑wage, licensing, insurance, bonding, and safety requirements, and to submit a detailed all‑inclusive rate sheet for each fiscal year.
• Provide one 500‑ton water‑cooled chiller, chilled‑water pump (VFD preferred), and an independent cooling tower, plus ancillary accessories.
