Description
The State of Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform a single preventive‑maintenance (PM) visit and any required repairs at each DHR county office location. The work must be completed between July 1 2026 and September 30 2026 and includes comprehensive tasks such as filter replacement, coil cleaning, electrical/mechanical checks, refrigerant verification, and, for eleven water‑based sites, certified water‑treatment testing. Only vendors that attended the mandatory site‑visit in Round 1 are eligible, and all technicians must hold appropriate Alabama HVAC, gas‑fitter, and EPA refrigerant certifications. The contractor must provide detailed documentation (photos, inspection forms, water‑treatment reports, and repair quotes) on site before leaving, and any repair work must be pre‑approved and finished by the September 30 2026 deadline.
• Perform one full HVAC preventive‑maintenance visit per DHR location (all equipment types, including boilers, chillers, air‑handlers, split‑systems, etc.).
• Replace pleated filters (MERV 10 minimum), clean coils, check refrigerant levels, inspect electrical components, and test water‑treatment for the 11 specified counties.
• Submit on‑site inspection forms, photos, and any repair quotes; repairs must be approved in writing and completed by 09/30/2026.
