Description
The Franklin County Municipal Court Clerk’s Office is seeking a qualified contractor to provide support services for Oracle Database systems hosted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). The primary purpose of this engagement is to support a stable production and training environment, with an emphasis on routine monitoring, preventive maintenance, and advisory services. The contract may also be used on an as-needed basis for additional Oracle database and Linux system support activities as requested.
• Oracle database monitoring, health checks, and troubleshooting
• Verification and monitoring of RMAN database backups and recovery processes
• Review of Oracle alert logs and system logs
• Disk space, system resource, and operating system health monitoring
• Assistance with Oracle and RHEL patching and maintenance
• Configuration review, advisory services, and general DBA/Linux administration support
• Other related Oracle database or Red Hat Linux support services as requested
• Monthly preventive maintenance services
The contractor must demonstrate active Oracle certification, experience supporting Oracle 19c environments, familiarity with RMAN configuration, backup validation, and recovery procedures, and experience supporting environments of similar size and complexity.
