RFP 902769 Drug Testing Kits and Laboratory Services

The County of Alameda is seeking a contractor to provide drug testing kits and laboratory services for the Alameda County Probation Department. The contract will be for a three-year term with an option to renew for two years. The contractor will be required to provide reliable, timely, accurate, secure, and fully compliant drug testing supplies, laboratory confirmation services, and related support. The contractor must also provide training on all aspects of the service, maintain a secure web-based reporting system, and ensure privacy under the HIPAA. • The contractor must provide urinalysis on-site devices and oral fluid on-site devices that meet specific minimum criteria. • The contractor must provide laboratory testing services, including gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS). • The contractor must provide all necessary supplies, including prepaid overnight mailers, specimen labels, urine specimen bottles, chain of custody forms, and security seals. • The contractor must maintain sufficient staffing and inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted services throughout the contract term. • The contractor must designate a Contract Manager who will serve as the primary point of contact for all contract administration matters.
