Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a certified Small Business (SB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to provide as-needed general property maintenance and repair services in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, travel, fees, permits, and incidentals necessary to provide routine and non-routine maintenance, historic and non-historic repair, and rehabilitation work, as well as painting services.
• The contract requires a valid Class B - General Building Contractor license and a C-33 Painting and Decorating Contractor license.
• The contractor must comply with prevailing wage rates and register with the Department of Industrial Relations.
• The contract has a maximum value of $461,000.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance and obtain a payment bond for 100% of the total service request if the price exceeds $25,000.
• The contract is subject to various laws and regulations, including the Darfur Contracting Act and California Civil Rights Laws.
