Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to award a sole source contract for preventative maintenance services for the PlateBright Intaglio Plate Cleaning Machine. The contractor will be required to perform standard and full preventative maintenance services, including cleaning, replacement of consumables and parts, component inspection, wear analysis, alignment, and calibration. The services will be performed at the BEP's DC Currency Facility (DCF) and Western Currency Facility (WCF). The contract has a 12-month base period and four 12-month option years.
• The contractor must provide all labor, parts, tools, and expertise required to perform the preventative maintenance services.
• The contractor must adhere to BEP security protocols and the direction of BEP police officers.
• The contractor must ensure that all contract personnel wear identification badges in a visible location on the front of exterior clothing.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards.
