Description
The California Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified contractor to design, demolish, and install new hot‑water boiler systems at the West Los Angeles Veterans Home. The scope includes mechanical, electrical, and structural design, Title 24 compliance, integration with existing Siemens building controls, and full commissioning of three new boilers. The contract is a fixed‑price, lump‑sum award with a 120‑day performance period.
• Perform design services (MEP, Title 24, structural) and obtain necessary permits.
• Demolish three existing boilers and install three new hot‑water boilers, including all piping, controls, and fire‑protection work.
• Integrate new controls with the existing Siemens system via Modbus/BACnet, provide testing, adjusting, and balancing, and deliver operation & maintenance manuals.
