Description
The VA is seeking a locum (temporary) Medical Physicist to provide on‑site radiation oncology physics services for a one‑year period at its Murfreesboro, TN facility. The contractor will support approximately 200 radiation oncology patients per year, operating Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and a Philips 64‑slice CT scanner, and will perform SBRT, IGRT, IMRT/VMAT, and 3‑D planning. No specific vacation coverage dates are known; an 8‑week notice will be given for any required coverage. The role is classified under PSC code Q522 (Medical Services).
