San Mateo Medical Center Generator Testing and Preventative Maintenance 5-year Contract

The San Mateo County Department of Public Works is seeking a contractor to provide annual inspection, preventative maintenance, and testing for three Kohler 800kW Emergency Generators at the San Mateo Medical Center. The primary objective is to ensure 100% reliability of the emergency power systems in accordance with life-safety requirements. The contract will be for a 5-year period, and all services must strictly adhere to NFPA 100 & Regulatory Compliance, The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care standards, Federal, State, and City's life and safety compliances. Key responsibilities include: • Annual preventative maintenance and testing • Full load test to simulate full load demand • Compliance with health and safety regulations, facility protocols, and infection control measures • Provision of a consolidated Annual Compliance Binder • Emergency support and on-call services The ideal contractor will have experience performing generator testing and preventative maintenance services, preferably in healthcare or other regulated environments.
