RFP-Harford Pier Restaurant Lease and Other Businesses

The Port San Luis Harbor District is seeking proposals for a long-term lease to develop a premier restaurant and other businesses on the historic Harford Pier. The District welcomes innovative proposals that enhance public access, support coastal-dependent uses, and deliver high-quality service and offerings aligned with the Central Coast market. The selected proposer will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the restaurant and other businesses, subject to review and approval by the District. The lease term is negotiable but must include a minimum 5-year initial term. The proposer must provide a minimum monthly rent and percentage rent, as well as a schedule for annual increases. • The proposer must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in the restaurant or related business. • The proposer must provide a startup plan, operation plan, and facilities plan. • The proposer must demonstrate compliance with labor laws and provide proof of insurance. • The proposer must obtain all necessary licenses, permits, and approvals. • The proposer must comply with the District's goals and objectives, as well as the San Luis Obispo County General Plan and the Master Plan for Port San Luis.
