The City of Columbus Recreation & Parks Department is seeking qualified professional firms to provide task‑order or full‑service consulting across a broad range of disciplines for the 2026‑2028 period. The solicitation pre‑qualifies firms that can deliver architectural, engineering, planning, landscape, construction‑management, and related services on a variety of park‑related projects, from pre‑design studies through construction administration. Qualified firms will be placed on a roster and invited to bid on individual task orders (typically under $50 k) or larger projects (> $100 k) as they arise.
• Disciplines covered include Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Environmental, Planning, Surveying, and Construction Management.
• Scope spans all project phases: pre‑design, schematic/design development, construction documents, bidding assistance, construction administration, and post‑construction close‑out.
• Firms must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) by July 2 2026, after which the City will evaluate based on location, understanding of scope, competence, past performance, and cost‑containment.
• No pre‑proposal conference or site visit is required; all questions must be submitted in writing by June 24 2026.
• Successful firms will be eligible for multiple task‑order opportunities throughout the two‑year contract term, with typical design fees under $50 k.
