Description
The Army is seeking innovative solutions to modernize food service operations for the Transformation and Training Command (T2COM) garrisons. The goal is to introduce flexible solutions that deliver superior outcomes compared to the existing food service model, ensuring optimal nutrition and sustainment for Soldiers. The Army is looking for solutions that can provide a campus-style feeding concept, with increased menu options and station-style feeding concepts, while still meeting nutritional and dietary requirements. The Army is adopting a "whiteboard" approach, inviting commercial partners to propose their ideal, end-to-end dining solutions, unconstrained by legacy processes. Key areas of interest include sourcing, menu standards, facilities and equipment, and legacy systems and regulations.
Some possible solutions may include:
• Introducing new technologies or procedures not currently used by the Army
• Modifying existing practices to deliver significant financial or operational benefits
• Providing a flexible partnership model that quantifies the value of removing legacy constraints
