The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a single, brand‑new X‑ray diffractometer system for its Chemical Sciences Division. The award will be a firm‑fixed‑price RFQ covering the instrument, all required hardware and software, shipping, installation, on‑site training, and a one‑year warranty. Delivery is FOB destination to NIST’s Gaithersburg campus, with a maximum lead time of 26 weeks from award, followed by installation and training within 30 calendar days each. The instrument must meet detailed performance specifications (600 W Cu‑tube source, grazing‑incidence capability, high‑resolution detector, multiple stages, safety enclosure, Windows 11 PC, etc.) and be a current, supported commercial product. Offerors must be active in SAM, provide technical data, past performance, and a complete price breakdown. Evaluation will consider technical capability, past performance, and price.
