Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive backflow preventer services across the municipality. The contract covers inventory verification, annual testing and inspection of approximately 208 devices, maintenance, repair, or replacement as needed, same‑day emergency response, detailed reporting, and coordination of quarterly schedules. The contractor must comply with state and local water‑system regulations, provide online access to inspection data, and maintain required insurance and certifications.
• Perform annual testing/inspection of ~208 backflow preventers city‑wide
• Deliver maintenance, repair, and replacement services with minimal repeat visits
• Provide same‑day emergency response and detailed electronic reporting
• Coordinate quarterly inspection schedules with City officials
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, insurance, E‑Verify, and MBE/DBE policies
