Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a contractor to provide as-needed general property maintenance and repair services in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. The services include routine and non-routine maintenance, historic and non-historic repair and rehabilitation work, and painting services. The contractor must possess a valid Class B-General Building Contractor license and other required licenses. The contract requires prevailing wages if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000.
• The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, parts, tools, supplies, travel, fees, permits, and incidentals necessary to perform the services.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• The contractor must maintain insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation.
• The contractor must provide a payment bond for 100% of the total service request if the service request price exceeds $25,000.
