Source Capture Exhaust System at Norwood Fire Station

The City of Morgantown, West Virginia, is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors/contractors for the provision and installation of a Source Capture Exhaust System at the Norwood Fire Station. The project is funded through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program and will be awarded as a Firm Fixed-Price contract. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing a complete Source Capture Exhaust System, including all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for delivery, installation, testing, and placement of the system into full operational use. Key aspects of the project include: • The system must be designed to capture and remove harmful exhaust emissions at the source. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. • The project must be completed and invoiced no later than August 10, 2026. • The contractor must provide a detailed narrative demonstrating their understanding of the scope of work, as well as a description of the proposed system and its compatibility with fire apparatus. • The contractor must also provide proof of business registration, insurance certificates, and a company profile, as well as resumes and qualifications of key personnel.
