Services-Crisis Management Certification and Recertification Training

The Maryland Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) is seeking a contractor to provide Instructor Certification and Recertification Training for Crisis Management services for DJS staff at Charles H. Hickey, Jr. School (Hickey). The training program should aim to prevent crises and restore youth to a healthy state, decreasing escalations and the use of physical restraint. The scope of work includes: • Instructor Certification Course • Instructor Recertification Course • On-site Supervision of Instructor Performance Training • Instructor Investigator's Training The contractor will provide one initial five-day Crisis Management Instructor Training for ten DJS employees and recertify thirty-four current DJS Crisis Management Instructors.
