The Medical University of South Carolina (MUHA) is seeking qualified firms to perform Building Envelope Commissioning (BECxA) for the new Florence Hollings Cancer Center. The project is a three‑story, 63,200 SF facility that will require comprehensive commissioning of the building envelope systems to ensure performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with design intent. Proposals are due July 24, 2026, with questions due July 8, 2026. • Scope includes functional testing, verification, and documentation of the building envelope (walls, roof, windows, doors, and associated systems). • Contractor must provide a commissioning plan, execute on‑site testing, and deliver a final commissioning report with recommendations. • Work will be performed during construction phases of the new facility; the firm must coordinate with MUHA’s project team and adhere to the project schedule. • The solicitation is open to firms with proven experience in building envelope commissioning for healthcare or similar institutional projects.
