Description
This IFB calls for a contractor to provide a fully‑operated, fueled and maintained asphalt paving machine on an on‑call basis for Caltrans projects in Imperial and San Diego Counties. The contractor must supply the equipment, a qualified operator, two screed staff as needed, all labor, fuel, travel, insurance and related incidentals, and be able to mobilize within 48 hours of a service request (4 hours for emergencies). The contract will run for approximately three years, with a pay‑per‑hour structure covering up to 1,500 service hours. The award will be based on sealed bids; small‑business and DVBE preferences apply.
