Description
The Illinois Air National Guard is seeking sources for a contract to provide Sim Protection equipment, including helmet head protectors, groin protectors, and throat protectors. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract, and the type of solicitation issued will depend on the responses to this sources sought notice. The equipment must be rated for protection against simunition ammunition.
• The contract requires the supply of 50 each of helmet head protectors, male and female groin protectors, and throat protectors.
• The equipment must be compatible with the USAF Authorized Small Arms and Light Weapons Accessories listing.
• The contract is intended for small business sources, including Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Woman-Owned Small Business.
• Respondents must provide a completed and signed Sources Sought Response Form, a positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and a listing of comparable contracts completed during the past three years.
