Oversized Vehicle Towing

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking a qualified vendor to provide 24/7 oversized‑vehicle towing services for its Fleet, Sanitation and Fire Department. The contract will be awarded to a single vendor for an initial three‑year term (with two optional one‑year renewals). Vendors must demonstrate at least three years of towing experience, possess a wrecker operator license and appropriate CDL, and own or lease heavy‑duty tow trucks with a minimum 60‑ton capacity. Services include hookup and mileage‑based towing of fire trucks, sanitation trucks, vactor trucks and other vehicles over 30,000 lb, both within Pinellas County and to out‑of‑county facilities. The city requires prompt response times, documented safety compliance, and detailed invoicing.
