LIBRARY DATA PLATFORM & SURVEY SERVICES (PLS-COMPATIBLE)

The West Virginia Department of Tourism, on behalf of the State Library Section, is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified vendors capable of providing a comprehensive data platform and survey solution for public library data collection, integration, analysis, and reporting in alignment with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Public Libraries Survey (PLS) requirements. The objective is to identify vendors with the capability and experience to deliver a solution that meets state and federal reporting requirements and supports long-term data management and analysis. Key aspects of the project include: • Statewide standardization of library data reporting • Implementation of an integrated library data and analytics platform • Data quality improvement and longitudinal analysis initiative • Experience with PLS or similar datasets • Approach to data integration and analysis • Description of reporting tools and outputs • Training and support approach • Escalation procedures • Sample implementation timeline
