As-Needed Low-Speed Vehicle Rental Services for Citywide Events

The City of Long Beach is seeking a qualified firm to provide as-needed low-speed vehicle rental services for citywide events. The selected firm will be required to provide rentals that include, but are not limited to, rental, delivery, and pick-up of low-speed vehicles (LSVs) such as Standard Four-Passenger, Limousine Six-Passenger, and Flatbed Cargo LSVs at designated event sites. The firm will be expected to work closely with City staff during all phases of event planning and production, maintaining courteous, knowledgeable, and professional service standards. The contract will be for a period of two years with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. Key responsibilities of the selected firm will include: - Providing access to the necessary LSVs equipment as needed for events - Ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of LSVs - Facilitating the safe and efficient movement of staff, volunteers, participants, and equipment throughout event sites - Offering staffing and equipment levels that can adapt to events of varying sizes and complexities - Maintaining professional, reliable, and timely services that support the safe, efficient, and successful execution of City events.
