East/West Corridor Improvement Feasibility Study

The City of Cape Coral is seeking a qualified engineering/consulting firm to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study for the proposed East/West Corridor improvement. The study will evaluate transportation, evacuation, growth, and mobility impacts and will produce actionable recommendations and models for future development. The scope includes data collection, traffic analysis, environmental review, cost‑benefit analysis, and integration with the City’s existing Mobility Plan. Deliverables are detailed reports, interactive growth models, and presentation to the Selection Advisory Committee. • Conduct a full feasibility analysis of the East/West transportation corridor, including traffic, safety, and evacuation routing. • Produce an interactive growth model (Exhibit C) to forecast land‑use and population impacts. • Review and align findings with the Cape Coral Mobility Plan (Exhibit D). • Prepare a written feasibility report and executive summary for City officials. • Present findings to the Selection Advisory Committee and respond to Q&A. • Coordinate any required permitting, licensing, and right‑of‑way considerations.
