Clearwater Turkey Trot Race Director Services

The City of Clearwater is seeking a qualified and experienced Race Director to support the annual Clearwater Turkey Trot. The selected proposer will provide professional race management services, including race operations, timing, and course management, and will work collaboratively with City staff to deliver a safe, efficient, and high-quality participant experience. Key responsibilities include pre-event planning, race-day operations, and post-event activities. The proposer must demonstrate experience providing race management and/or race director services for large-scale road races or similar events. • The City is looking for a proposer with experience managing events with comparable participant size, logistics, and operational complexity. • The proposer must provide a project team and key personnel with the necessary qualifications, experience, and availability to perform the required services. • The proposer must demonstrate an understanding of the Clearwater Turkey Trot and the City's shared-responsibility model. • The proposer must provide a proposed approach and methodology for ensuring participant safety, operational efficiency, and a positive participant experience.
