Description
Tennessee Technological University is seeking one or two contractors to provide comprehensive flooring services—including measurement, removal, installation, and maintenance of vinyl‑tile, luxury vinyl plank, linoleum, carpet‑tile, and related base and transition work—for university facilities over a five‑year period. The contractor must supply all labor (skilled and unskilled), tools, and handle material logistics, with invoicing on a bi‑weekly basis and a 15 % markup on material costs. The scope also covers travel compensation for remote sites, strict safety and dress‑code requirements, and a one‑year workmanship warranty.
• Provide all labor categories (supervisors, skilled workers, helpers) and own tools.
• Perform removal of existing flooring, base, and carpet, then install new vinyl, linoleum, carpet‑tile, or broadloom per detailed cost‑sheet line items.
• Measure rooms at no charge, invoice materials at cost + 15 % markup, and submit detailed, job‑separated invoices within 14 working days of project completion.
