Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a contractor to replace the existing generator at the Carson City Correctional Facility. The new generator will be a 500 kW unit, and the contractor will be responsible for demolishing and removing the existing generator, piping, and associated equipment. The contractor will also be required to install new fuel oil piping, a new day tank, and a new generator. The project will require coordination with other disciplines to avoid conflicts.
• The contractor shall field verify the sizes, location, elevations, and details of all existing conditions that may affect the work.
• The contractor shall be responsible for maintaining the integrity of all equipment and materials in a "new" condition during construction.
• The contractor shall use licensed contractors and subcontractors as required by law.
