Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead and support the migration of its IT system portfolio to a government cloud infrastructure. The portfolio comprises approximately 100 applications hosted on various virtual servers, and the contractor will be responsible for developing a cloud adoption strategy, designing a secure and scalable government cloud architecture, executing a risk-aware migration plan, and ensuring compliance and security posture. The contractor will also be responsible for enabling operational excellence and cost optimization, building internal cloud competency, and providing expert-level cloud engineering and migration support.
