PRO - RFP - 2026 Maintenance Services for Traffic Signals and Other Devices

Marin County is seeking proposals from qualified electrical contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance services for its traffic control infrastructure. The work includes routine preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, record‑keeping, and upgrades for traffic signals, flashing beacons, radar feedback signs, and related devices throughout the county. All work must comply with the 2026 California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD), FHWA regulations, and CALTRANS construction standards, and must be performed by licensed personnel with appropriate insurance coverage. • Scope covers 16 signalized intersections and ~50 additional traffic devices (flashing beacons, radar signs, etc.). • Required deliverables: regular inspections, fault diagnostics, parts replacement, software updates, and detailed maintenance logs. • Contractor must hold a California Class A or C10 electrical contractor license, provide IMSA‑certified technicians, maintain $1 M general liability insurance, and adhere to prevailing‑wage and labor‑code requirements.
