Description
The US Air Force is conducting market research to identify contractors that can provide prefabricated bridges for a golf course and pedestrian walkway at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland, TX. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that the removal and replacement of the existing bridges are conducted in a manner that will provide a structurally sound prefabricated bridge to allow the safe conveyance of pedestrians/golf carts and be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The key requirements of the project include:
• Removal and replacement of two pedestrian walkway bridges
• Provision of all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary for the project
• Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• Provision of a structurally sound prefabricated bridge
• Safe conveyance of pedestrians/golf carts
