Description
The VA Pacific Islands Health Care System is seeking a contractor to provide Home Oxygen Services. The contractor will be responsible for providing home oxygen equipment, maintenance, and emergency services to patients. The contract will have a period of performance of 5 years, with 5 ordering periods. The contractor will be required to develop a comprehensive program of inspections and monitoring actions to ensure quality control. The contractor will also be required to provide quarterly reports on customer satisfaction, infection control, and performance improvement. The contract will be awarded based on the best value to the government, considering factors such as price, technical capability, and past performance.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing home oxygen equipment and maintenance services to patients
• Providing emergency services, including 24/7/365 emergency service capability
• Developing a comprehensive program of inspections and monitoring actions to ensure quality control
• Providing quarterly reports on customer satisfaction, infection control, and performance improvement
• Ensuring that all staff are licensed and have the necessary experience and training to perform their duties
• Maintaining accurate records and reports, including patient records, equipment maintenance records, and financial records
