Description
The State of California, Department of General Services, Procurement Division (DGS-PD) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to solicit bids from qualified firms to establish a Statewide Contract for Dry Mixes (Dry Bakery Mixes and Flour). The contract will be for two years with two one-year extension options. The State anticipates spending $2,690,225.84 for Dry Bakery Mixes and $164,444.80 for Flour over a one-year period. Bidders must submit a completed Attachment 1 – Pricing Worksheet, Attachment 3 – Narrative Response, and other required documents. The State reserves the right to eliminate any specific line item from the final award.
• Key aspects of the contract include:
• Providing Dry Mixes (Dry Bakery Mixes and Flour) to the State of California
• Meeting the requirements described in Attachment 2 – State of California Bid Specification Number 8920-TS-0279442 and 8920-TS-0279443
• Complying with all applicable statutes, rules, regulations, and orders of the United States and the State of California
• Participating in the Alternative Protest Process
• Submitting a completed Bidder Declaration Form (GSPD-05-105) and other required documents
• Meeting the socioeconomic program requirements, including the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Program and Small Business Preference
