Description
The City of Norfolk is seeking a responsible vendor to provide online vehicle auctioneer services. The selected vendor will be required to provide vehicle/bicycle inspection services, marketing services, and operate an online auction website for approximately twelve (12) vehicle and six (6) bicycle auctions annually. The vendor will also be responsible for hosting an onsite preview/inspection and providing both print and electronic auction catalogs.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Providing online auction services for vehicles and bicycles
* Conducting vehicle/bicycle inspections and creating descriptions
* Marketing services, including weekly newsletters and advertising on at least four auction marketing websites
* Operating an online auction website with fraud protection and security systems
* Providing detailed reports and invoices to the City and successful bidders
* Maintaining all records and reports for at least one calendar year
