Description
The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) is seeking bids for the replacement of the Trane 15-ton split system heat pump located at the gymnasium building for Generations Group Home in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the replacement. The contractor will be required to follow specific guidelines and regulations, including those related to security, safety, and the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).
• The contractor must provide a signed copy of the form with their offer, agreeing to be bound by the terms of the solicitation.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable provisions of the Drug-free Workplace Act.
• The contractor must provide appropriate secure storage for hazardous or toxic materials.
• The contractor must ensure that all construction personnel are dressed in modest attire and follow specific guidelines for clothing and personal items.
• The contractor must comply with the requirements of the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and provide training to their personnel on their responsibilities under SCDJJ's sexual abuse and sexual harassment prevention, detection, and response policies and procedures.
