Next-Generation Firewall

The Decatur County School System is seeking a next-generation firewall to upgrade its central firewall for district-wide Internet access. The selected vendor will provide a firewall appliance, threat prevention, URL filtering, AV licenses, basic maintenance, and technical support. The project includes installation, configuration, and migration of rules from the existing firewall. The vendor must meet specific hardware and software requirements, including a minimum of 5 Gbps throughput, support for at least 2M concurrent sessions, and integrated web filtering. The project is funded through E-Rate, and the vendor must comply with E-Rate rules and regulations. • The project requires a detailed parts list and pricing of all items to be installed. • The vendor must provide a 3-year vendor support contract and a 3-year manufacturer support contract. • The vendor must be contractor certified in their respective hardware. • The vendor must supply a SPIN number and comply with E-Rate certification requirements. • The vendor must provide on-site service and warranty for the equipment.
