Description
The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a complete, all‑inclusive uniform, linen, and shop‑supply rental service for two fire‑station sites in the Tuolumne‑Calaveras Unit. The contractor must deliver clean, service‑ready items on a weekly basis, manage inventory, handle laundry and repair/replacement, and comply with a range of state certifications and insurance requirements. The contract runs for three years, beginning June 30 2026, with a competitive award based on the lowest responsive‑and‑responsible bid.
• Provide weekly delivery, collection, and inventory tracking of uniforms, coveralls (including flame‑resistant), shop towels, floor mats, and related supplies.
• Include all labor, transportation, permits, taxes, and fees; no subcontracting allowed.
• Meet extensive compliance (SB/DVBE, civil‑rights, Darfur Act, post‑consumer content, organic‑waste recycling) and maintain $1 M+ insurance coverage.
