Description
The VA Portland Health Care System requires referral laboratory services to provide testing and interpretation for various complex tests, including immunology, hemostasis, and thrombosis. The selected laboratory must have expertise in these areas and provide quick turnaround times for test results. The contract will include services such as specimen testing, interpretation, testing supplies, customer service, and verification of certification for test results. Key areas of testing include:
• Immunology
• Hemostasis & Thrombosis
• Hematology/Oncology
• Anatomic Pathology
• Neuropathology
• Dermatopathology
• Cytopathology
• Microbiology/Virology
• Molecular
• Flow Cytometry
• Electron Microscopy
• Ophthalmic Pathology
The laboratory must also have experience with organ transplants and be able to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.
