Description
The U.S. Embassy in Guatemala requires the services of Diplomatic Mail Handling Services. The contractor will be responsible for handling outgoing and incoming mail, including X-ray screening and security inspections. The embassy will provide the contractor with airline booking details and designated airline contact information in advance. The contractor will be required to verbally remind the airline's operation not to X-ray unclassified pouch mail. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing cargo the day prior to pickup and delivering it to the embassy by 6:00 AM.
