Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Home Oxygen services to Veteran beneficiaries serviced by VISN 17 for only El Paso VAMC. The contractor will be responsible for setting up, installing, and managing Home Oxygen and Ventilation services, as well as providing ongoing services, emergency maintenance, and preventive maintenance. The contract will be for an 8-month period, with the option for renewal. The contractor must have a facility or resources physically located in the geographic area in which they shall provide service and must be able to respond to emergency service calls within one hour.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing Home Oxygen and Ventilation services to Veteran beneficiaries
• Setting up and installing equipment in patients' homes
• Providing ongoing services, including monthly home visits and quarterly reviews
• Providing emergency maintenance and preventive maintenance
• Coordinating with VA staff and patients to ensure seamless care
• Maintaining accurate records and providing reports to the COR
The ideal contractor will have experience providing Home Oxygen and Ventilation services, as well as a strong understanding of the needs of Veteran beneficiaries. They will also have a robust system in place for managing emergency situations and providing timely responses to patients' needs.
