Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing services to test, fill, and inspect combination pressure demand breathing apparatus (CPDBA) and regulators. The contractor will be required to provide annual inspection and services, including testing, filling, and repair of CPDBA and regulators as needed. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide testing and repairs to CPDBA and regulators.
Key responsibilities include:
• Testing and inspecting CPDBA and regulators
• Providing breakdown of labor cost and unit price of materials
• Performing repairs with a 14-day turnaround
• Inspecting, testing, and performing repairs
• Submitting a quote for required repairs, including a breakdown of total labor and material costs
