Description
The Saginaw Township Community Schools is seeking bids for a two-year contract to provide boiler-burner unit service for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years. The contract will commence on September 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2028. The successful bidder will be required to conduct one complete boiler CSD-1 testing and documentation for each district boiler, as well as monthly boiler CSD1 testing and site documentation on all low water cut-offs and low-pressure safety valves. The bidder will also be required to perform low water cut-off inspections of all boilers prior to state boiler inspections in July.
• The contract will cover multiple school locations, including Arrowwood, Hemmeter, Heritage, Mackinaw, Sherwood, Weiss, Westdale, White Pine, and others.
• The bidder will be required to provide a firm price for the contract, as well as hourly rates for any additional boiler repairs.
• The bidder will be required to maintain documentation of all work performed and provide progress invoices when preventative maintenance is performed.
• The contract will be subject to an annual review of compliance with specifications and overall contractor performance.
